Not just an energy control platform

We offer the PowerNab energy management platform at no cost to you (net incentives). The controller and thermostat hardware typically retails at $500 or more and allows you to do much more than just manage your energy consumption. That includes controlling and integrating your audio and video components, home security, lighting, and irrigation.  In fact, because the interface works like the smart phone, you can expect an “app for that”.

Plug and play architecture

The PowerNab platform is designed to use standard components, wireless mesh networking technology (ZigBee) and offer a plug and play approach to setup and deployment. By adopting public protocols and standards, new appliances will seamlessly self-configure themselves into your network as soon as they are installed.  While most home energy management systems focus on load monitoring and control, PowerNab’s architecture allows the homeowner to mange both distributed energy generation as well as consumption to offer an end-to-end customized energy solution.
